It is not easy when you want to revamp a vehicle that is synonymous with starting a new category. The same is a case with upcoming 2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. When it was launched way back in 1962, the seeds of SUV era were sown. The upcoming version will have some features of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and FCA has confirmed the model will be released in 2019. It will be made in the company’s Warren Truck Assembly located in Detroit.
2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer – Redesign
Not much is known about the design of the upcoming 2019 Grand Wagoneer but it will have a body of frame architecture instead of unibody build. It will be more wide and tall than the sibling Grand Cherokee. It will have luxurious build, giving FCA a contender to pose against luxury-class SUVs from JLR and BMW. You can expect Jeep’s iconic chrome seven-slat grille at front with LED round headlamps. At backside, there will be 2 exhaust pipes and LED taillights.
While FCA is a mum on the tech and amenity related features to be used in the new Jeep Grand Wagoneer, you can expect plenty in both segments. It will compete with Cadillac and Range Rover models- so shortage in either safety or luxury is ruled out.
2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer – Under the Hood
As per the industry buzz, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer 2019 may be laden with an eight cylinder twin turbo engine and there could be diesel variants too. However, the top trim may get a more powerful V-8 engine.
2019 Jeep Grand Wagoneer – Price and Availability
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer 2019 may have a price tag of $140,000 or so. It will be released in 2019.
The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a much anticipated and important vehicle for FCA. It will be a luxury SUV with ruggedness embedded. With right powertrain and features, it can be the new category king.
