The 2018 Subaru Outback Hybrid is all set to be launched at the end of the year and the overall design has been refreshed quite a bit.

Though the overall design has been upgraded slightly there are not many changes that have been made. To align the 2018 Subaru Outback with the rest of the cars from Subaru, the front and the rear of the car have been modified slightly. The headlights are of curved C- shape which resembles the Subaru Crosstrek. The lights seem to protrude from the front of the grille. The Led headlights come with a unique design specification which can turn them in conjunction with the direction of the steering wheel.
The shape of this car is going to resemble a boxer engine design. Subaru has a specific feature which all loyalists know of the ‘EyeSight safety suite’ which provides for an automatic high beam of the headlights. The front is classed to provide adequate protection from rocks and dirt on the roads. The size of the wheelbase differs from one model to another. The premium models and the 2.5i base come with alloy wheels of 17’ in size while the touring models and limited models come in 18” design. Roof rails attached to retractable crossbars come in all models except the Touring while in the Touring the rails are of low profile and are detachable.
Interior and Technology:
The 2018 edition of Subaru Outback promises to provide the riders a smoother ride because of the improvement in the chassis and the quality of suspension. The steering wheel and the brakes have also been tweaked in order to decrease their mutual response time. Improvements have been made in other aspects also like the rear view mirrors, the side mirrors, CVT etc. which will improve the overall quality of the ride. The center console has also been redesigned.
The interest of the backseat passengers have also been kept in mind and the passengers will be provided with access to two USB ports. The trim and the upholstery of the interiors of the car have also been improved. The improvement in the car air conditioning system will decrease the time taken to cool the cabin. The 2018 Subaru will be fitted with Starlink Infotainment system. The top-level models will have many high features like TomTom navigation system, Apple CarPlay etc. the size of the touchscreen of the infotainment system will vary between 6.5 inch– 8 inches. The EyeSight safety suite is available on all Touring models and is optional on others.

The 2018 Subaru Outback hybrid should be hitting the markets at the end of the current year. Though the company has not formally made an announcement about the price range of the car according to all the speculations, there should not be much difference between the current and the 2018 model.
