The 2018 Nissan Juke is not like just any subcompact crossover you see on road. Even in a crowd of cars belonging to its segment, it manages to stand apart. The car, since its debut managed to garner a user base despite its unique styling which is deemed weird by some. Nissan has revamped the Juke for 2018. Some minor changes in design and technology are there- it is not a thorough overhaul.
2018 Nissan Juke – Redesign
The 2018 Juke carries forward the legacy of its unusual design which is a mix of retro and modern styling. It will come in 5 trim choices- S, SV, SL, Nismo, and top end Nismo RS. All trims get Projector halogen low beam headlights, LED signature accent lights, alloy wheels of varying sizes. Nissan continues to offer a multitude of color combination for the Juke- which contributes to its somewhat funky appeal.
The cabin also adheres to the funky design style in Nissan Juke 2018. All trims get In-cabin microfilter, Cruise control, Variable intermittent windshield wipers, 12-volt DC power outlet, Cup and bottle holders, Carpeted floor mats. The cabin space is decent but Juke gets outshined by several segment rivals here. Top trims get Sport Bucket Seats and center console with bold styling.
The Nissan Juke for 2018 scores quite well in safety and amenities but the top two trims get the advanced features. As expected, all trims get safety features like Vehicle Dynamic Control and Traction Control System, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, airbags and Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System.
All trims get the audio system but top ones get excellent Rockford Fosgate audio system. Top trims also get SiriusXM Satellite Radio, USB ports. Barring base trim, all trims are loaded with the new NissanConnect infotainment system. SV trim can be equipped with tech package. You may also go for the special Black Pearl Edition.
2018 Nissan Juke – Engine
All trims of 2018 Nissan Juke barring the Nismo RS will get the turbocharged four-cylinder 1.6-liter engine but this time it may get enhanced output. This will get the continuously variable transmission unit. The NISMO RS trim gets a special exhaust system which enhances the growl.
2018 Nissan Juke – Price and Release Date
The 2018 Nissan Juke pricing is likely to begin at $21,000. For top trim, it can be around $29,000. The release date could be in late 2017.
New Nissan Juke 2018 continues its funky styling and focuses on amenities. If Nissan can keep the pricing consistent there is no reason it should not win target buyers.
