The front fascia bears the Lexus monogram spindle grille, Bi-led headlamps, and a stylish chrome-plated surround.

We also find premium L-shaped LED lights with three distinct L-shaped components on either side. The designers have repeated the spindle theme at the car’s back end, where the L-shaped LED taillights to seem to enclose and wrap the tailgate into fenders. A floating-roof effect occasioned by gracefully blacked-out C-pillars caps off the design. The next-gen Lexus RX 350 comes with 20-inch wheels with three diverse design options.

The 2018 Lexus RX 350 interior is designed with attention to detail. Its cabin highlights the satin-brushed aluminum trim, richly furnished wood trim and form-fitting seats. The RX models have ample space for five passengers. There is a depressed back floor that offers the same seating position as in the top-tier LS luxury sedan.

The next-gen 2018 Lexus RX 350 edition is set to include two powerful engine options. The first one is a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with the capacity of 295 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. This engine option is hooked to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The second engine choice is an RX 450h hybrid system which incorporates the V-6 with three electric drivetrains, a nickel-metal hydride battery pack, and a continuously variable transmission. The system produces a combined output of about 308 horsepower.

Fuel Economy

When it comes to the EPA fuel economy ratings, the front-wheel-drive 2018 Lexus RX 350 records around 20/27 mpg city and highway drive. Its all-wheel-drive equivalent is rated at 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The RX 450h, which comes as standard with all-wheel-drive, is the most efficient model with EPA ratings standing at 31 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.

2018 Lexus RX 350 – Availability and Price

Lexus is yet to announce the pricing and expected arrival. However, the 2018 Lexus RX 350 is likely to go on sale this fall. Therefore, dealers are expected to begin taking orders in the next few weeks. The RX 350 starts at $44,215 including destination fee, about $120 increase over its precursor. The all-wheel-drive RX 350 models will add about $1,400 for a pricing of $45,615.
