The 2018 BMW X3 model is quite stylish yet the Iconic German carmaker has decided to give a revamp for 2018 model year. The updates are not limited to external styling alone but the car will also get a boost in technology.

2018 BMW X3 – Inner and External Cosmetic Changes:

The 2018 BMW X3 may get all the existing trims and an M-Performance model named X3M40i. The prototype car has been caught testing on roads in recent times and spy shots reveal a sharper and enticing styling. The well-known twin split kidney grille design will be retained. This time the headlamp gets LED treatment and there will be DRL. There will be multiple wheel choices, based on trims. The rear side will get small changes. The roof may get spoilers and moon roof panel and rear side may get 2 exhaust pipes. This model is going to be almost 100 kg lighter than existing model owing to increased usage of aluminum in a body.

Inside the cabin, a number of things have changed including the dashboard layout and steering wheel. Possibly the seat upholstery will also be changed. There will be a digital instrument cluster in the cabin. The cargo space will not be much to boast about though small item storage options will be the planet.

New 2018 BMW X 3 is going to be laden with new technology features and same is true about safety quotient. Expected safety features are traction contrail, stability control, blind spot monitoring and rear view camera. There will be several airbags inside the cabin, of course.

As per the latest updates, 2018 BMW X 3 will get equipped with a range of turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines. The company may unveil a plug- in hybrid version as well. Even in the company retains same engines from 2017 model, the output and fuel economy will be enhanced.

BMW has not said much on exact pricing of 2018 X3. However, the 2018 model may not be priced much higher than the existing version. So, expect a starting price tag of $42000. It will hit roads in late 2018.

The BMW X3 2018 is going to heat up the temperature in the compact luxury crossover segment. The new design, reduced weight, and revamped cabin are going to work in its favor. However, BMW should not go overboard with pricing.
