2017 Nissan Rogue Review, Hybrid, SL, Specs

Nissan has certainly exceeded most of its rivals and counterparts when it comes to manufacturing SUVs and crossovers. The 2017 Nissan Rogue is one such example, which prominently stands out among a variety of crossovers. Given the recent increase in demand for more luxury vehicles, Nissan has modified a myriad of the models it was already producing to include the benefits and amenities of such vehicles.

The Rogue has already seen a 14 percent rise in sales this year, which puts it ahead of the Honda CR-V, and Toyota in most cases. Nissan intends on continuing this upward trend in sales well into the next year and has thus included many features. Let us take a closer look at what these are.

2017 Nissan Rogue – Exterior:

Perhaps the most noticeable styling change in the 2017 Nissan Rogue is the front grille, which comes in a bolder, V-shaped fashion now. This makes the Rogue resemble the Nissan Pathfinder and Armada in design and exterior. The new grille comes equipped with LED daytime running lights; the outer body of the crossover is also going to be having new fascia now. In addition to this, there is also state of the art fog lights, revised taillights, and a completely redesigned rear bumper. The Rogue SL is also available with new 19 inch wheels.

These updates give the Rogue a more aggressive look than before, which keeps it on par, at least visually with rivals like Mazda and Hyundai.

2017 Nissan Rogue – Interior:

The cabin has not changed much and can have a sort of familiar feel to it. However, Nissan has given us a lot of embellishments to get excited about. The engineers have installed a new steering wheel, revamped center console, and panel finishes. The steering wheel is available in leather and can be heated as well. In addition to this, the driver’s seat and the mirror both have a memory function. Other features include a remote engine start and new designs for the knobs.

A much-awaited enhancement in the Platinum Reserve Package for the Rogue SL is the addition of tan leather upholstery for the seats. Much like other Nissan products this year, the Rogue also comes equipped with blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic alerts. Apart from this, two other new technologies which will be installed in the 2017 Nissan Rogue are cruise control and forward emergency braking.
