The 2017 Nissan Juke is a sub-compact crossover SUV which is designed, developed and produced by the Japanese carmaker. It is one of the most famous models produced by the company.
The Nissan Juke debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010.
2017 Nissan Juke – Innovations in the Dashboard, Storage, and Safety Features:
The main aspect of the Juke is its ‘coke bottle styling.’ This is manifest in the prominent wheel arches of the vehicle that offer a contrast against the high waistline and the side windows.
There is an array of lights featured at the front of the car. The indicators and the lamps are mounted on the front wings.
Nissan Juke has a seating capacity of five persons – two in the front and three in back. The seat at the back can be folded to make more room. There is extra storage space beneath the rear cargo area which is rather small.
The original Juke is the main inspiration for the later versions of the vehicle.
The current model of Nissan Juke will be replaced by 2017 Nissan Juke in the next year. It will be an all-new model featuring a revised engine and upgraded platform. The overall style of the car will also be updated and reinforced with the help of modern chassis.
It has been revealed by the company that the 2017 Nissan Juke has been heavily inspired by the ‘Sway Concept.’ The headlights and the rear design of the present model will be retained along with the curvaceous roofline and wheel arches.
However, there will be some changes in the new cabin in the form of high-quality material and finer building quality.
There was widespread criticism of the interior of the current Juke model owing to its awkward layout and poor built. Nissan has decided to take care of both these problems in the 2017 Juke.
The material is expected to improve, and extra care will be taken regarding the building quality of the interior. But the company may opt for a toned down exterior.
Nissan has used soft touch plastic and high-end fabric in the latest model. Accessories will include Smartphone connectivity for Android Auto and to Apple CarPlay.
2017 Nissan Juke – Engine Options:
The platform on which 2017 Nissan Juke is based is comparatively cheaper. It will also be easier to produce than the current version of the same vehicle. The new chassis will provide the engineers at Nissan to fit the vehicle with updated engines which include the 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 (188 hp-177 lb-ft of torque), and the 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 unit (211 hp-184 lb-ft of torque).
The Nissan Juke 2017 will feature hybrid variants and upgraded technology. The new version will be more efficient and highly refined. There will also be improvements in some other crucial areas of the vehicle.
