The present model was launched just two years back but Kia Motors is gearing up to launch the 2018 version.

2018 Kia Sorento – Redesign Exterior and Interior:

The spy shots reveal a more stylish exterior design for the upcoming Sorento. It will possibly be launched in 5 trims- L, LX, EX, SX, and Limited. The new Sorento may sport a redesigned grille and sleeker looking headlamps. The grille may have a honeycomb design. Some changes may also be there at side and back side of the car.

The 2018 Kia Sorento may sport a more lavish interior than the existing model. The dashboard may be revamped and there would be plenty of soft-touch materials. Kia may throw in some useful small item storage bins and holders.

Kia Sorento 2018 will come loaded with latest amenities and you can expect several safety features too. Expected safety features include several airbags, traction control, lane departure warning, rearview camera and blind spot monitor. The cabin may be laden with features like noise insulation, ambient lighting, and dual-zone climate control. Of course, you will get the latest version of Kia’s touch screen entertainment setup.

2018 Kia Sorento – Powertrain:

The Kia Sorento 2018 may get new engines but the company is a mum on the topic. The existing powertrain may also be used in tweaked form for better fuel economy and output. Then the company may retain entry-level 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Top trims will get a 3.3-liter V-6 unit.  If the new car is lighter than fuel economy may get a boost.
