2018 Cadillac XT3 – Design and Features:

The 2018 Cadillac XT3 prototypes have been spotted testing at several places and spy shots hint at the possible design to be used in the production version. The rear side lights are placed like the bigger sibling Cadillac Escalade. The front side shots indicate the headlamps may be designed differently than those used in most Cadillac models and the pentagonal mesh grille will be used. It is not clear as to what architecture will be used to make the XT3. The experts assume the company will make use of the D2 platform, which is also used to make cars like GMC Terrain and Chevy Equinox. Not much is known about its cabin but it is definitely going to be lavish.

Like its larger siblings, upcoming Cadillac XT3 is going to be equipped with latest safety features. Of course, it will be laden with several amenities. Apart from a standard set of airbags, you can expect features like rear view camera, traction control, blind spot monitor, and lane keeps assist. The car may also be equipped with options for heated seats and ambient lighting along with climate control.

2018 Cadillac XT3 – Price and Release Date:

Cadillac has not said anything on the pricing of the upcoming 2018 XT3. However, industry experts think the entry level trim may be priced around $30,000. The car will hit the showrooms in late 2017.

The 2018 XT3 is a very important vehicle for GM’s luxury wing, for sure. Cadillac has been late in joining the compact luxury crossover party. So, the XT3 should be designed well and it also needs a blend of solid powertrain and the right price to make a mark. It will lock horns with rivals like Mercedes-Benz GLA-class, Acura RDX, Audi Q3, BMW X1.
